Being A Writer

Well, yeah. I do relate to this. I can’t say I am a fan of Thompson because I always felt he was too busy playing at being “Hunter S. Thompson” but I do agree with this sentiment.  I have so many stories brewing in my head. I guess it is because I live and work in the Metro NY area and there’s just so much material here.  Dialects and personalities and joy and pain and, well, you get the idea.  I usually have two or three story ideas going on either on my yellow legal pads or half done as word docs on my harddrive.  Right now my agent has two of my manuscripts, shopping them around.

I got up at 4:30AM and went to my day job today…for more material. Yeah, that’s what it is.  …”until the dark thumb of fate presses me to the dust…”  Thank you for the encouragement, Mr. Thompson.
